Your Name on a Grain of Rice, 2024
"Your Name on a Grain of Rice' sees itself as a ritual object on the threshold between private memory culture and collective symbolic language. The sculpture unfolds a multi-layered structure of loss, identity and magical thinking: a shrine that makes the process of mourning comprehensible not as a linear state, but as a continuous inner transformation. In its formal language, the work weaves together Greek and Irish motifs. Silver ornaments reminiscent of Orthodox tabernacles meet the Irish children's poem One for Sorrow, which whispers from the shrine.
